At Ahlers Logistics, we specialize in international forwarding, secure transport, warehousing, supply chain management, project cargo, and trade facilitation across Europe and beyond.
🚛 Your responsibilities
• Organize transports according to company contracts and procedures
• Proactively follow up on transport bookings for loading and unloading in close communication with customers, suppliers, colleagues, and delivery points
• Issue transport orders to suppliers according to operational procedures
• Communicate with suppliers and clients regarding shipment status and transport documentation
• Prepare operational reports according to company procedures
• Work with transport and logistics systems such as e-Trans, Transporeon, TAS, TMS, and other digital platforms
• Coordinate freight forwarding activities across road, ocean, and intermodal transport operations
💡 What we are looking for
• Experience in freight forwarding and professional transportation operations
• Knowledge of road transport, ocean freight, and intermodal transport processes
• Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage a wide range of operational data and priorities
• Comfortable using logistics software systems, Outlook, internet platforms, and digital tools
• Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced operational environment
• Results-oriented approach with focus on quality and efficiency
