Hours: 8:00AM – 4:30PM // Monday – Friday

Job Description:
As a Freight Forwarder at Link Logistics Inc., you will play a crucial role in facilitating the movement of goods across borders domestically, efficiently and effectively.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Coordinating and managing shipments from origin to destination i.e. bookings, delivery orders, CAD’s etc.
Liaising with clients, carriers, and customs officials to ensure smooth transit of goods. i.e. online track and trace.
Preparing and processing import and export documentation.
Negotiating freight rates and booking cargo with carriers.
Resolving any issues or delays that may arise during transit.
Maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and requirements.
Familiarity with IMO and IATA Hazardous regulations.
Requirements:
Fully working experience with CargoWise.
Proficiency with Outlook, Word and Excel
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in import air/ocean and 3+ years air/ocean export operations
Strong understanding of international shipping processes and documentation.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in excel and word.
Knowledge of incoterms.
Customs entry or classifications experience a plus.
