Our client is seeking an experienced and ambitious Freight Forwarder to join their Operations Department. As a key member of the team, you’ll be responsible for managing the transportation of goods worldwide, handling all aspects of quoting, forwarding, customs, and third-party interactions.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan and execute efficient shipping routes for international cargo.
Prepare and manage documentation for customs, insurance, and regulatory compliance.
Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and clients to ensure smooth logistics operations.
Utilize company technology platforms to maintain efficient processes.
Adhere to quality standards and compliance requirements (AEO, ISO).
Provide excellent customer service, including regular updates on shipment progress.
Assist in business development and customer retention efforts.
Arrange cargo insurance and handle claims when necessary.
Previous experience in freight forwarding
Fluency in English and the local language
High energy and positive attitude
