About the Role
As a Freight Forwarder – Road Transport, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing domestic and international road freight shipments, ensuring efficient and cost-effective transport solutions for our customers.
You will serve as the primary point of contact between customers, carriers, and logistics partners, overseeing the entire shipment process from booking to delivery. The role requires strong operational skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute road freight shipments across Europe
- Communicate with customers, carriers, and transport partners
- Manage transport documentation and shipment-related administration
- Monitor shipment progress and ensure on-time delivery
- Handle customer inquiries and provide proactive shipment updates
- Resolve operational issues and implement effective solutions
- Negotiate rates and optimize transport solutions where applicable
- Ensure compliance with transport regulations and company procedures
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes
