Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Freight Forwarder role based in Cairo, Egypt. The Freight Forwarder will coordinate and manage international and domestic shipments, including export procedures, document preparation, and compliance with customs and regulatory requirements. The role involves arranging freight transportation, tracking cargo movements, and ensuring timely delivery while optimizing costs. The Freight Forwarder will communicate with clients, carriers, and internal teams to provide accurate shipment information, resolve issues, and maintain high standards of customer service. Daily tasks also include maintaining organized records, preparing reports, and supporting continuous improvement in logistics operations.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in Freight Forwarding and Freight Transportation, with a solid understanding of logistics processes.
- Practical knowledge of Forwarding and Export operations, including documentation, regulations, and customs procedures.
- Strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to manage client inquiries, provide shipment updates, and resolve problems effectively.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Effective communication skills in English; Arabic language proficiency is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with standard office and logistics software; experience with freight management systems is beneficial.
- Relevant diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
