Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Freight Forwarder role based in Seoul, South Korea. The Freight Forwarder will coordinate export and freight transportation activities, including booking cargo space, preparing shipping documentation, and tracking shipments from origin to destination. Responsibilities include communicating with carriers, customs brokers, and other partners to ensure timely, compliant delivery of goods. The role also involves responding to customer inquiries, providing shipment updates, and resolving issues related to delays, damages, or documentation. The Freight Forwarder will work closely with internal teams to optimize routing, manage costs, and maintain accurate records within company systems.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Freight Forwarding and Forwarding, with experience managing end-to-end shipment processes.
- Knowledge of Export procedures and documentation, including compliance with international trade regulations.
- Experience in Freight Transportation, including coordinating with carriers and understanding shipment routing options.
- Proven Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients and partners.
- Relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, or international trade; experience in forwarding companies is an advantage.
- Ability to work accurately under time pressure, manage multiple shipments, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency with office and logistics software (e.g., MS Office, shipment tracking systems); familiarity with ERP or TMS is beneficial.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business, international trade, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
