About ZED TRANSPORT LLC
ZED TRANSPORT LLC is a growing transportation company with approximately 6 months of operating authority. We are currently focused primarily on Cargo Vans and Sprinter Vans, with plans to add additional equipment types and expand our fleet as the company grows.
We are looking for an experienced Freight Dispatcher / Load Board Specialist who understands the freight market and can help us find, negotiate, and book profitable loads for our fleet.
This is a performance-based opportunity for a motivated dispatcher who knows how to effectively use load boards and can help a growing carrier build consistent and profitable freight opportunities.
What You’ll Do
- Search for available freight using DAT, Sylectus, My Virtual Fleet, and other load boards
- Find loads that match our Cargo Vans and Sprinter Vans and their current locations
- Identify profitable loads by evaluating rates, mileage, pickup/delivery requirements, deadhead, and overall profitability
- Contact brokers and negotiate competitive rates
- Bid on and book loads for our fleet
- Plan efficient routes and help minimize empty miles
- Keep our trucks consistently loaded with quality freight
- Communicate with brokers, drivers, and other parties throughout each shipment
- Confirm pickup, delivery, rate, and load details
- Track loads from booking through successful completion
- Maintain accurate records of booked and completed loads
- Develop and maintain relationships with reliable freight brokers
- Monitor multiple load boards and proactively identify profitable opportunities
- Help establish and grow our freight network as ZED TRANSPORT LLC expands
Required Experience
We are specifically looking for someone with hands-on freight dispatching experience.
The ideal candidate must have experience with:
- Freight dispatching
- DAT load board
- Sylectus
- My Virtual Fleet
- Finding, evaluating, negotiating, and booking freight
- Negotiating rates with freight brokers
- Understanding freight lanes and market rates
- Selecting loads based on profitability rather than simply availability
- Managing loads from booking through successful delivery
Hands-on experience using load boards to actually find and book freight is strongly preferred over general logistics or transportation experience.
Equipment Focus
Our current fleet is primarily made up of:
- Cargo Vans
- Sprinter Vans
As ZED TRANSPORT LLC grows, we plan to expand into additional equipment types and freight opportunities.
Experience dispatching Cargo Vans and/or Sprinter Vans is a strong advantage. However, candidates with broader freight-dispatching experience are encouraged to apply, particularly those who understand how to find and book profitable loads through DAT, Sylectus, My Virtual Fleet, and similar platforms.
Compensation
This is a performance-based, percentage-compensation position.
The starting compensation is:
2% of the gross revenue from each load booked and successfully completed.
Candidates with significant dispatching experience, strong load-board skills, established broker relationships, and a proven ability to consistently secure profitable freight may be offered a higher percentage based on experience and performance.
As our fleet and freight volume grow, there is an opportunity for the dispatcher to grow their earnings alongside the company.

- Wants to grow with a new and expanding carrier
Important: This Is Not an Entry-Level Position
ZED TRANSPORT LLC is a new carrier with approximately 6 months of operating authority, and we are looking for an experienced dispatcher who can help us build our freight operation.
We are not looking for someone who simply wants to learn dispatching on the job. The ideal candidate should already have practical experience finding, negotiating, and booking freight through load boards, particularly DAT, Sylectus, and My Virtual Fleet.
Because we are a growing company, the successful candidate will have an opportunity to play an important role in building our dispatch and freight operation as we expand beyond Cargo Vans and Sprinters into additional equipment types.
