Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced, responsible, and quick-thinking Freight Dispatcher to join our team in-office only. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of FTL and volume LTL operations, be highly organized, and thrive in a fast-moving environment. This is not a remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and dispatch FTL and volume LTL shipments efficiently
Communicate with drivers to ensure timely pickups and deliveries
Book loads and negotiate rates with brokers and customers
Track loads and update clients and systems with accurate ETAs
Resolve issues quickly and effectively as they arise
Coordinate with warehouse staff and fleet managers
Manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic setting
Requirements:
Prior experience in dispatching FTL and/or volume LTL freight is required
Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and time-management abilities
Proficient in dispatching software and general computer use
Must work onsite – this is a full-time, in-office position
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
