Job Description
Anviam Logistics is seeking a motivated and experienced Freight Broker to join our growing team in Mohali.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing freight shipments, building relationships with carriers, and ensuring that all logistics operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Source and secure new carrier relationships to fulfill client shipping needs.
Negotiate rates with carriers to ensure competitive pricing and high service levels.
Coordinate and manage the full lifecycle of freight shipments from pick-up to delivery.
Maintain regular communication with carriers and clients to provide updates on shipment status.
Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during transportation.
Ensure all necessary documentation and compliance requirements are met.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their logistics needs and offer tailored solutions.
Use industry-specific software to manage logistics operations efficiently.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Freight Broker or in a similar logistics role.
Strong understanding of the transportation industry and market conditions.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
