Position Overview
This is primarily a sales-focused role. As a Freight Broker / Sales Executive, your primary responsibility will be developing new business opportunities by identifying, contacting, and securing new shipping customers.
You will actively prospect potential clients through phone calls, email outreach, networking, and relationship-building activities. Once freight opportunities are secured, you will work closely with carriers and internal operations teams to ensure successful execution and customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do
- Prospect and develop new shipper relationships through outbound sales activities.
- Conduct daily cold calls to generate new business opportunities.
- Build and manage a portfolio of shipping customers across North America.
- Negotiate pricing and transportation solutions with customers and carriers.
- Coordinate and manage shipments from pickup through delivery.
- Provide customers with quotes, shipment updates, and proactive communication.
- Resolve service issues and transportation exceptions quickly and professionally.
- Develop long-term relationships with both customers and carrier partners.
- Maintain accurate records within transportation management systems and CRM platforms.
- Collaborate with team members to share market intelligence, capacity trends, and best practices.
- Consistently work toward revenue, margin, and customer growth targets.

- Familiarity with transportation management systems, CRM platforms, Loadlink, DAT, or similar tools.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Sales, or a related field.
