Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Freight Broker Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating the transportation of goods by assisting the Freight Brokers daily needs. You will utilize your organizational skills to efficiently handle day to day operational activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, time management and communication skills.
Duties
Tracking and trace all shipments.
Enter loads into our McLeod TMS.
Make and confirm pick up and deliver times or appointments.
Follow up with brokers on any exceptions related to pick-ups or deliveries.
Requirements
Experience in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
Familiarity with McLeod transportation management systems operations is advantageous.
Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail is needed.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00 – $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
