Job Description:
ICM Logistics is seeking an experienced and motivated Freight Broker to join our team. As a Freight Broker, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, negotiating freight rates, and coordinating shipments while ensuring smooth operations across all aspects of the supply chain. We are looking for candidates with an established portfolio, demonstrating their ability to generate leads, close deals, and provide value-added services to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Leverage your portfolio to bring in new clients and maintain existing relationships.
Negotiate and secure freight contracts with shippers, carriers, and other stakeholders.
Manage the full life cycle of shipments, from booking to delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective service.
Provide excellent customer service and maintain clear communication with clients and carriers.
Utilize industry knowledge to identify and resolve any logistical challenges.
Maintain accurate records of shipments, contracts, and other relevant documentation.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Freight Broker with a solid portfolio of clients.
Strong negotiation, sales, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Deep understanding of the freight brokerage process and the transportation industry.
Familiarity with logistics software and systems.
