Role Description
This is a full-time, remote Freight Broker role. The Freight Broker will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing freight shipments, managing customer accounts, dispatching drivers, negotiating rates with clients and carriers, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. The role also involves building strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service, and continuously optimizing the logistics process to meet client needs efficiently.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Freight Brokerage and general Brokerage practices
- Experience in Customer Service and Account Management to build and maintain client relationships
- Knowledge of Dispatching processes and coordination with carriers
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and solve client challenges effectively
- Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in using logistics management tools and technology
- Familiarity with the transportation and logistics industry is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred
