Role Description This is a full-time hybrid Freight Broker role based in Yerevan, Armenia, with the flexibility to perform part of the work from home. The Freight Broker will manage day-to-day freight operations, including sourcing and matching carriers with customer loads, negotiating rates, and ensuring timely pickups and deliveries. Responsibilities include maintaining strong relationships with shippers and carriers, providing responsive customer service, and overseeing dispatch activities to resolve issues and track shipments. The role also involves managing accounts, monitoring margins, updating the transportation management system, and collaborating with the broader team and agent network to optimize lane performance and service quality.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Freight Brokerage and Brokerage, including rate negotiation, carrier sourcing, and load coordination.
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, handle inquiries, and resolve issues professionally.
- Candidates should possess Dispatching skills, including load planning, shipment tracking, and real-time problem-solving.
- Candidates should possess Account Management skills to develop and maintain relationships with shippers and carriers and manage ongoing business.
- Relevant qualifications include prior experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain; proficiency with transportation management systems; and strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include fluency in English, solid negotiation abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
