Opportunity is around the corner as Pertemps are currently seeking Forklift Truck Drivers to join a successful and well-established logistics and distribution company based in the Newark area.
As a Forklift Truck Driver, you will play a vital role in the smooth and efficient movement of goods within the warehouse, always ensuring safety and accuracy.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company that values its workforce and offers long-term career potential. Permanent contracts may be offered after 12 weeks worked through Pertemps.
What will I be paid?
Pay rates starting from £12.24 to £13.38 per hour
(Rate dependent on shift pattern and experience)
What will I be doing as a Forklift Truck Driver?
Operating Counterbalance and/or Reach Forklift Trucks to move goods around the site
Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
Stacking and storing products in the correct areas
Conducting regular checks on equipment and reporting any issues
Supporting the wider warehouse team as required
Following all health & safety procedures
What skills and experience do I need?
Valid Forklift Truck licence – Counterbalance and/or Reach (in-house or accredited accepted)
Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
Good level of
attention to detail
Strong
communication
and
teamwork
skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Must be able to commute reliably to the Newark area
Working hours:
Monday to Friday – Various shifts available:
06:00 – 14:00
14:00 – 22:00
22:00 – 06:00
