Forklift Operator/Material Handler Part Time Jobs in Fort Atkinson, WI at W&A Distribution Services, Inc.
Local transportation company seeking an experienced part-time Material Handler to join our Warehouse team. Primary tasks include loading/unloading of trailers, tracking of freight and forklift operation. Accuracy, safety, and security are the top department objectives, and everyone shares responsibility for reaching those goals.
Position requirements:
- Must be punctual, dependable, detailed, and able to work cooperatively.
- Able to measure freight dimensions (length, width, height)
- Familiarity of use of RF Scanner
- Knowledge of customer/receiving paperwork a plus
- Able to add and subtract measurements
- Must be able to stand/walk for extended period of time and lift up to 75lbs.
- Dynamic work environment including a combination of operating a forklift, manual loading/offloading of trailers, completion of necessary paperwork, etc.
- Must be 18 years of age
The part-time schedule is Monday, Thursday and Friday day shift. Fridays may require working until 8pm or later. Up to 25 hours per week.
