Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
The Stand-Up Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating stand-up lift equipment to move, stage, load, and unload materials within a warehouse environment. This role supports daily production, inventory flow, and inbound/outbound operations while maintaining strict safety standards.
- Operate stand-up forklift equipment safely and efficiently at all times
- Load and unload pallets, freight, and materials with proper handling techniques
- Move product to designated storage locations following warehouse flow procedures
- Support receiving, put-away, replenishment, and shipping tasks
- Perform daily equipment inspections and immediately report any issues
- Maintain a safe work environment by following all warehouse safety rules, PPE requirements, speed limits, and equipment operating guidelines Identify unsafe conditions and communicate hazards to leads or supervisors
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
Qualifications & Skills:
- Valid forklift certification or recent experience operating stand-up lifts
- Strong commitment to safe work practices and adherence to OSHA-aligned procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
- Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols, equipment checks, and hazard awareness
- Experience in a logistics or distribution environment preferred
- Must have a valid ID or work permit.
- Must take a drug screen. (Excludes marijuana)
- 7-year background check for violent crime, sex offenses, and larceny.
