Join the Operations & Environmental Services department as a Fleet Technician. Depending on your experience and qualifications, you can be hired at one of three levels: I, II, or III. Daily tasks include performing preventive maintenance, conducting inspections, and maintaining accurate service records for various town vehicles, including fire trucks and tractors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot and repair municipal fleet vehicles
• Perform regular maintenance tasks and inspections
• Conduct advanced diagnostics on equipment
• Maintain accurate service records and reports
• Attend to roadside service calls and repairs
Requirements:
• Licensed as Automotive Service Technician (310S) and/or Truck & Coach Technician (310T)
• Minimum five years’ experience in automotive or truck repairs
• Knowledge of vehicle safety inspections and standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Valid Ontario G Drivers’ license in good standing
