Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Fleet Supervisor to oversee our vehicle fleet’s condition, maintenance and operation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for vehicle renewals, insurance, maintenance, Salik management, and RTA portal operations, ensuring that the fleet remains fully operational and compliant with all relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company’s fleet, including the scheduling of maintenance, repairs, and renewals to ensure optimal vehicle performance
Manage RTA renewals, vehicle registrations, and insurance renewals, ensuring timely compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
Coordinate regular maintenance schedules and handle any emergency repairs for all vehicles, keeping maintenance records for each vehicle
Work closely with insurance providers to ensure all vehicles are covered, claims are processed efficiently, and renewals are handled on time
Manage and monitor Salik accounts, fines, and RTA portal activities, ensuring all charges are properly documented and reconciled
Develop and manage the fleet budget, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving measures where applicable
Negotiate contracts with vehicle suppliers, insurance providers, and maintenance vendors to secure favorable terms and service agreements
Ensure the fleet operates according to safety regulations and company policies, conducting safety checks and enforcing compliance among drivers
Maintain records of all vehicles, including asset numbers, condition, service history, and usage
Generate reports on fleet utilization, maintenance costs, and vehicle efficiency to inform management decisions
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in fleet managment or similar role.
Strong understanding of RTA regulations, vehicle insurance processes and Salik systems.
Proficiency in using fleet management software, MS Office, and familiarity with RTA portals and related online platforms.
Strongleadershipand team management abilities.
Analytical mindset with a focus on optimizing costs and efficiencies.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
