The Fleet Maintenance Manager is responsible for providing direction, either directly or indirectly, and to ensure that all repairs and maintenance are performed in compliance with the Company’s safety and maintenance standards, and in compliance with all federal and state regulations.
Responsibilities:
Manage, train, and develop a team of technicians.
Ensure Safe Work Methods are always followed.
Schedule and direct workflow through the shop; assist technicians with difficult repairs.
Coordinate outside fleet repairs to ensure maximum equipment uptime. Coordinate after-hours breakdown repairs with Volvo Action Service or Michelin Oncall.
Review completed maintenance work for timeliness, completeness, accuracy, and quality; ensure a high level of employee productivity.
Maintain and balance inventories; accurately record vehicle history.
Perform quality inspections/audits on trucks and trailers.

Qualifications:
Minimum – high school diploma;
Associates or Tech School degree preferred, but not required.
Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in fleet maintenance management.
Team-oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level ofcommunicationwith management, coworkers, and vendors.
Proven performance with task and time management.
Efficient with computers including Microsoft Office Suite and web-based applications required.
