Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across designated routes. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle operation, adherence to safety regulations, and the ability to manage loading and unloading tasks effectively.
Duties
Operate tractor-trailers (flatbed) .
Drive routes as assigned, ensuring timely delivery of freight while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
Load and unload cargo as necessary, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel usage in compliance with company policies.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes or delays.
Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the truck both inside and out.
Qualifications
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
Experience in truck driving with proficiency in manual transmission operation preferred.
Familiarity with various truck types including dump trucks, roll-off trucks, tankers, and tractor-trailers, flatbed.
Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and route driving logistics.
Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading cargo.
Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: $1,800.00 – $2,200.00 per mile
