Gas/Diesel/Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Our exclusive team of mechanics works diligently to ensure maximum functionality of our impressive company fleet.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair heavy equipment from manufacturers such as John Deere, Komatsu, Ford, and Chevy
Diagnose, adjust, and repair equipment and vehicles
Test drive trucks to diagnose malfunctions or to ensure that they are working properly
Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery
Perform safety inspections on all types of vehicle
Keep shop area clean and tools in good working order
Knowledgeable in AC repair and welding
Perform other related duties as required
Experience with 90-day inspections on Freight Liners and Peterbilt
Skills and Qualifications
Must have/bring your own tools
CLASS A LICENSE IS A PLUS, but not required
Strong knowledge and experience of diesel engine repair
Ability to effectively communicate mechanical issues and required repairs
Ability to read and understand service and technical information
Knowledgeable with hydraulic systems
Individuals must have a Valid CA driver license and submit a clean DMV report upon application

Shop hours normally run from 6am to 5pm Monday through Friday with half-days on Saturday based on alternating schedules. Shop hours may change at any given time, applicants must be open to working overtime and weekends.
