Yang Ming Marine Transport Corp. is one of the leading international container shipping companies in the world. Our Regional Head office in Mediterranean area, with office in Athens, is looking for candidates to fill a position in the Feeder and Terminal Procurement team.
Job Description:
1. Booking space for YM volumes ex-hub ports and checking connection feasibility with Mother Vessels.
2. Fulfilling agreed fixed allocation (ladens and empties).
3. Monitoring Agencies and performance of Feeder vendors.
4. Feeder tender rates/terms/situation/negotiation.
5. Terminal agreement and rate negotiation, related system updated.
6. Perform other duties as assigned by the Company.
Candidates must be fluent in English as well as excellent users of MS Office apps with good communication skills, patience, attentiveness, enthusiasm and team spirit. Prior working experience in Container Liner Shipping Industry is preferred.
