Job Summary:
Responsible for preparing competitive pricing and quotations for export shipments via sea and air freight. Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, overseas agents, and internal teams to ensure timely, accurate, and profitable quotations while maintaining strong relationships with vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
· Prepare and submit competitive export sea and air freight quotations within agreed timelines.
· Obtain and negotiate freight rates with shipping lines, airlines, co-loaders, and overseas agents.
· Maintain and update freight tariffs, surcharges, and vendor rate databases.
· Coordinate with Sales and Operations teams to support customer requirements and business development.
· Analyze market trends and carrier pricing to ensure competitive offerings.
· Follow up on quotations and provide pricing support for RFQs and tenders.
· Ensure accuracy of pricing, profitability, and compliance with company policies.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, agents, and service providers.
Requirements:
· Graduate with 1–5 years of experience in freight forwarding, preferably in export pricing (sea / Air).
· Good knowledge of sea freight and air freight pricing, Incoterms, and export logistics.
· Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
· Proficiency in MS Excel and freight forwarding software.
· Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
