Key Responsibilities
- Export Logistics Management
Coordinate end-to-end import and export logistics operations.
Monitor shipment schedules to ensure timely dispatch and delivery.
Track cargo movement and proactively address delays or disruptions.
Maintain accurate shipment tracking records and status reports.
- Documentation & Compliance
Prepare, review, and verify all import and export documentation including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, permits, and customs declarations.
Ensure compliance with local and international trade regulations.
Maintain proper documentation records for audit and regulatory purposes.
Identify and resolve discrepancies in trade documentation.
- Coordination with Suppliers & Customers
Serve as the operational contact between suppliers and customers for trade execution matters.
Communicate shipment timelines, documentation requirements, and updates.
Resolve operational issues related to shipping, documentation, or regulatory compliance.
Ensure alignment between supplier dispatch schedules and customer delivery requirements.
- Liaison with Clearing Agents & Regulatory Authorities
Coordinate with clearing and forwarding agents to ensure smooth customs clearance.
Provide required documentation to clearing agents in a timely manner.
Liaise with relevant Ministries and regulatory bodies to obtain necessary import/export permits and approvals.
Follow up on permit applications and ensure regulatory compliance prior to shipment.
- Tracking & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of all trade transactions, tracking report
Prepare periodic logistics and trade execution reports for management.
Monitor key performance indicators such as shipment timelines, clearance time, and compliance metrics.
Highlight risks, delays, and operational bottlenecks with recommended solutions.
