2. About the Opportunity:
The Export Logistics Coordinator role is responsible for ensuring efficient and accurate processing of customer orders related to the movement of recycled materials both domestically and internationally. This position serves as the primary contact for customer inquiries and supports logistics operations to meet customer needs, directly contributing to maintaining service quality and operational efficiency within the team.
3. Responsibilities:
• Communicate with customers to monitor inventories and schedule equipment for waste by-product transport
• Arrange and negotiate third-party freight costs using approved carriers
• Monitor shipment status through computer systems
• Address and resolve customer complaints related to shipments
• Coordinate delivery setups and communicate shipment delays
• Review pricing with sales and marketing teams
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors, customers, and freight carriers
• Manage all necessary shipment documentation, including export documents
• Ensure timely and accurate invoicing and vendor payments
• Resolve issues related to waste material downgrades and rejects
• Coordinate services and communicate issues with supervisors and managers
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude to foster customer and employee confidence
• Participate in meetings to promote morale and productivity
• Provide feedback on service issues and customer complaints
• Respond promptly to customer order status and product inquiries
• Meet call center service and operational goals
• Collaborate with sales representatives to meet customer service expectations
• Complete special projects and support less experienced representatives when needed
4. Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Two years of relevant customer service experience involving export material
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including basic Excel
• Experience using computer systems
• Must reside and work in the United States
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• The expected base pay range for this position across the U.S. is $22.50 – $26.50. The specific salary offered may vary based on experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
