Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Export Drayage Specialist to join the CargoLoop, LLC team. As a key member of our operations team, the Export Drayage Specialist will be responsible for managing our freight and supply chain logistics, ensuring timely and effective delivery of goods. The ideal candidate will have a strong transportation management systems and port operations background.
Training is provided.
Duties:
Order and procure export bookings directly from shipping lines, in-house brokers, and third-party brokerage agents.
Processing confirmed bookings and creating a loading schedule for upcoming weeks.
Constant booking and vessel status monitoring through the port system, email updates, and directly from shipping line websites.
Adjust the loading schedule and ensure that containers are out-gated and in-gated by booking and vessel changes.
Coordinating with company and third-party truck drivers.
Experience:
– Experience with freight transportation planning and execution.
– Proficiency in software applications related to transportation and logistics.
– Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Familiarity with / DOT regulations and best practices.
Skills:

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 – $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
