The Executive (Transport VTS Operations) will be responsible for monitoring vehicle movements through GPS-based Vehicle Tracking Systems (VTS), ensuring operational efficiency, safety compliance, and timely reporting. The role involves close coordination with drivers and the operations team to manage real-time alerts, route adherence, and fleet performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor vehicle movement in real-time using GPS tracking systems
- Track and analyse delays, route deviations, stoppages, and idle time
- Generate and maintain daily operational reports (trip reports, fuel usage, vehicle utilisation)
- Coordinate with drivers and internal operations teams to ensure smooth transport activities
- Respond to system alerts such as overspeeding, geofence violations, and breakdowns
- Ensure all GPS devices are functioning properly and report any technical issues
- Maintain accurate logs and records of vehicle activity and incidents
- Support route planning and optimisation to improve efficiency
- Ensure compliance with company transport policies and safety standards
