- Operational Support & Execution
- Assist in planning, coordination, and execution of port operations including vessel berthing, loading/unloading, and cargo handling.
- Monitor daily terminal activities to ensure smooth operations and adherence to schedules.
- Support supervisors in resolving operational issues and minimizing downtime.
- Process Understanding & Improvement
- Learn and apply port operation processes, SOPs, and industry best practices.
- Identify areas for process optimization and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in efficiency enhancement projects and cost reduction programs.
- Safety & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to all safety, health, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
- Support implementation of safety procedures and compliance with statutory guidelines.
- Assist in audits, inspections, and incident reporting.
- Coordination & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with internal teams (maintenance, logistics, marine operations) for seamless operations.
- Liaise with external stakeholders such as shipping agents, customs authorities, and transporters under supervision.
- Data Analysis & Reporting
- Maintain operational records and prepare periodic reports on performance metrics (turnaround time, productivity, etc.).
- Analyze operational data to identify trends and improvement areas.
- Training & Development
- Participate in structured training programs across various functions (operations, maintenance, safety, logistics).
- Gain cross-functional exposure to understand end-to-end port operations.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Civil / Marine / Electrical / Industrial) OR
- MBA / PGDM in Operations, Logistics, or Supply Chain
- 0–2 years of experience
