Purolator is seeking a dedicated Evening Freight Sorter for shifts from Saturday to Wednesday. In this position, you will primarily be responsible for unloading freight, sorting packages, and loading them into delivery vehicles. You will also engage in scanning operations and ensuring vehicles are clean and ready for use.
Key Responsibilities:
• Unload freight from trucks onto conveyor systems
• Scan packages to identify sorting errors or priority shipments
• Load items into delivery vehicles efficiently
• Preload mail and packages into curbside vehicles
• Wash and maintain the cleanliness of courier vehicles
Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent completed
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean record
• Physical ability to lift up to 70 pounds
• Proficiency in English for effective communication
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
