Auxilia Group Recruitment are currently recruiting for a European Freight Sales Manager on behalf of our client within the transport sector. This is a permanent opportunity based in Co. Cork.
Role:
- Identify and pursue new freight forwarding and logistics business opportunities within the European market.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and growth opportunities.
- Drive new client acquisition through prospecting, networking, and outreach.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Develop tailored freight and logistics solutions based on customer needs.
- Present sales proposals, negotiate rates, and secure contracts.
Requirements:
- Strong sales experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or shipping.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Strong knowledge of freight forwarding and logistics.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills for forecasting and market evaluation.
