Position Description
Class Title: Driving Range Attendant – Golf Course
Grade Number: M06, $11.53 per hour
Department: Parks & Recreation

GENERAL PURPOSE
Driving Range Attendants picks up the golf balls with a driving range picker. Washes and fills the ball machines. Maintain the grounds by picking up garbage. Render assistance to the customers when asked on a timely basis to ensure their complete satisfaction.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED
Works under the supervision of the Golf course General Manager.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Maintain a clean and well-organized facility.
Assists the customer whenever necessary to provide an enjoyable customer experience.
Maintain a clean cart fleet and notify proper personnel if there is a problem.
Promote Allentown Municipal Golf Course as a full-service facility.
Be able to operate a gas-powered range cart.
Be able to operate the driving range picker.
Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
Performs related work as may be required.
Provide quality and effective customer service with courtesy and understanding to our customers, citizens and internal departments.
Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience
High School diploma or equivalent
Equivalent combination of related education and experience
Necessary Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
Must possess physical ability to work under all conditions.
TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED
Daily use of golf cart and ball picker.
