Salary Range: $15.00 – $19.50
Job Summary
Responsible for motor vehicle handling, communication, and patient/resident handling. Must maintain patient/resident sensitivity and confidentiality at all times. Develop an understanding of patients’/residents’ physical and emotional status, working with all ages. Transport safely and as scheduled. Ensure all support equipment is well maintained and in good condition, setting up equipment according to manufacturer’s recommendations and internal policies. Maintain appropriate records per Department of Transportation (Use the “Apply for this Job” box below). and internal reports.
Communicate scheduling conflicts proactively.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Must be 21 years or older with excellent customer service skills.
Driver history must meet Sanford driver qualification standards for insurability.
Valid driver’s license required and must meet all medical guidelines for Sanford Health Category II drivers.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; if not certified at hire, must be obtained within six months (training provided).
