Are you an experienced Driver Shunter looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused individual to join our busy operation, playing a key role in ensuring the smooth movement of trailers across our site.
✅A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
- Maintaining a safe, organised, and efficient yard environment
- Moving trailers around the site in a timely manner using a Terberg shunt unit
- Supporting warehouse and transport operations through effective trailer management
- Assisting with trailer loading activities to help achieve operational KPI targets
- Ensuring all Health & Safety procedures, site rules, and company policies are followed at all times
- Working closely with operational teams to support the smooth running of the site
✅this Role Would Suit People Who
- Previous shunting experience, ideally operating Terberg units – desirable
- Hold a UK Driving Licence
- A strong understanding of yard safety and operational procedures
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
