Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: 50 hours per week, Monday – Friday Nights 23:00 start
Location: Skelmersdale – WN8 8DY
We’re looking for a professional Class 1 Driver to support our growing operation in Skelmersdale. Working across the North West, you’ll play a key role in delivering excellent service to our customers while maintaining the highest safety standards.
A Typical Day May Involve
- Multi drop delivery – between 6 and 10 drops across the North West
- Manual handling of customer products in rolling cages, boxes, pallets and loose items. Use of manual pallet truck is required
- Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
This Role Would Suit People Who
- Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (CE), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- Ideally have 12 months recent Class 1 driving experience
- Must be comfortable with manual handling
- Previous experience working Night Shift would be beneficial
