Regional Truck Driver – Texas Regional
Location: Houston, TX
Job Description
We are seeking reliable and skilled Regional Truck Drivers to join our Texas Regional team. As a driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently throughout Texas and Oklahoma. Our ideal candidates will have a strong commitment to safety, customer service, and flexibility in handling various driving tasks. This role involves both daytime and nighttime driving, loading and unloading freight, and maintaining accurate logs and vehicle inspections.
Pay & Benefits
Average Weekly Earnings: $1,250 – $1,824
Miles: 2,500 to 2,800 per week
Home Time: 5-7 days out with a 34-hour reset

Regional driving within Texas and Oklahoma
Freight may require stops in cities outside of the designated regions
Truck stays at Laredo terminal, San Antonio yard, Dallas yard, or Houston yard
NOT a dedicated lane – routes change with customer demand
Nighttime driving is required
Load and unload cargo; operate forklifts as needed
Home Time
Typically out for 5 to 7 days
34-hour reset at home
Routes may vary based on customer needs but will strive for consistent home time within regional guidelines
Equipment
Late-model trucks, well-maintained and reliable
Equipped with modern safety features
Trucks based out of Laredo, San Antonio, Dallas, and Houston yards
Manual transmission vehicles
Forklifts used for loading/unloading tasks when required
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate flatbed and roll-off trucks for regional deliveries
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Secure freight and ensure proper handling of cargo
Maintain accurate logs, delivery documentation, and vehicle reports
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding deliveries
Comply with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
Qualifications
Proven truck driving experience with a valid CDL
Proficiency in manual transmissions
Ability to operate forklifts safely
Strong freight handling knowledge
Excellent communication and time management skills
Attention to detail for inspections and documentation
Minimum Requirements
Minimum Age: 21 years old
Must pass hair and urine drug screening
Clean Background:
Minimum 6 months of experience
No felonies
No DUIs or at-fault accidents
No misdemeanors within the past 10 years
No terminations from previous employment
Driving record will be reviewed thoroughly
