We are currently looking for an LTL Operations Manager for our Vaughan terminal.

Schedule: Sunday to Thursday from 10:00pm to 6:30am
Position Type: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: Up to $85,000, will be based on experience

- Supervise, coach and train personnel
- Coach, train and mentor your supervisors
- Daily PM Dock performance, monitoring and adjustments
- Increase Scanning Compliance, both Inbound & Outbound
- PM Reweigh and Recube, improve revenue capture on the Dock
- Monitor/Assign Forklift Staff
- Reduce miss-directs and damages on customer shipments
- Customer shipment audits when required
- Ensure employees follow health & safety guidelines
- Cross train staff to ensure adequate dock coverage daily
- Action on all last-minute shipment requests
- Previous Management experience in the Transportation Industry is preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be able to exercise initiative, multi task and work well as part of a team
- Organized and detail oriented
- Proficient with computer programs/dispatch systems and Microsoft office
