- Position Pay Range: $22.00-$27.00 per hour
- Responsibilities**
The Dispatcher, Linehaul will be responsible for dispatching drivers to
maintain service levels of on-time local and out state deliveries.
Ensure drivers are adhering to Hours-of-Service regulations. Notify
customers of arrival schedules. Prioritize under pressure in the best
interest of the company, customers, and drivers.

- Conduct daily dispatching and weekly scheduling of local and
linehaul drivers.
- Determine the best delivery methods and negotiate rates directly
with vendors and customers.
- Manage breakdown situations on the road & coordinate equipment
repair with maintenance shop to reduce mechanical failures and
delays.
- Complete necessary paperwork / data entry accurately and in a timely
manner to ensure an efficient and steady flow of information.
- Coordinate third party carriers to move overflow loads in cost
efficient way.
- Develop strong relationships with customers and drivers to reduce
the stress that comes with last minute schedule changes.
- Comply with company C-TPAT and TSA security procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**SKILLS AND ABILITIES**
Ability to read and interpret general business documents. Ability to
write routine reports and general business correspondence. Ability to
work with peers and communicate basic concepts.
Ability to solve practical problems through standardized solutions that
require limited judgment. Ability to follow prescribed and detailed
procedures to solve routine problems.
