Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support in transportation management and logistics. Your expertise in shipping and receiving, along with your ability to analyze freight operations, will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Duties
Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone and email, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
Manage transportation logistics by coordinating shipments, tracking deliveries, and resolving any issues that may arise.
Utilize systems such as AS400 and Oracle Transportation Management to input data and analyze shipping information effectively.
Collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Maintain accurate records of shipments, including GPS tracking data and freight details.
Provide support in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Analyze customer feedback to improve service delivery and enhance overall customer experience.
Qualifications
Proven experience in customer service or a related field, preferably within transportation management or logistics.
Strong understanding of shipping and receiving processes, including familiarity with freight operations.
Proficient in using software applications such as AS400, Oracle Transportation Management, and GPS tracking systems.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess situations quickly and provide effective solutions.
Strong communication skills with an emphasis on professional phone etiquette.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
