Job Overview: The Full-Time Dispatcher will coordinate among drivers, terminals and internal teammates and customers with daily dispatching related tasks and other duties.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Communicate effectively with drivers, terminals, customers, and co-workers through e-mails, phone calls, etc.
Track, trace and update the shipment status daily.
Run reports daily to ensure all shipments status are updated/followed-up properly.
Report to Management when there are any issues.
Perform other duties as requested/assigned by the Manager/Supervisor.
Qualifications Required:
Highschool or above education.
Minimum Typing Speed 50 WPM or higher
Intermediate and/or advanced skill level in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet Browser Navigation
Excellent communication, interpersonal (verbal, written and phone), strong follow-up skills
Have a strong desire to learn and grow
Must be a fast learner with a positive attitude and can work independently, as well as a team player
Must be a US Resident
Preferred:
Bilingual: English and Chinese
Minimum 1-years’ working experience in the freight forwarding or trucking dispatching industry.
Work Schedule:
Working hours: M-F 8:30am to 5:30pm or weeknights, subject to change.
Salary Range: $45K-$60K plus bonus.
