Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients, ensuring their needs are met efficiently and effectively. You will play a crucial part in managing transportation logistics, providing support in dispatching, and utilizing various transportation management systems to enhance service delivery.
Duties
Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone systems, providing accurate information regarding transportation services.
Assist in transportation planning and management by analyzing freight requirements and coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
Utilize GIS tools to optimize routes and improve service efficiency.
Collaborate with 3PL partners to ensure seamless logistics operations.
Manage dispatching activities, ensuring timely delivery of goods while maintaining communication with drivers and clients.
Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions within transportation management systems.
Address customer complaints or issues with professionalism, aiming for quick resolutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
Skills
Proficiency in transportation management and planning, with a solid understanding of logistics operations.
Experience with GIS applications related to route optimization and fleet management.
Familiarity with 3PL operations and the ability to coordinate effectively with third-party logistics providers.
Strong analytical skills to assess freight needs and make informed decisions based on data.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and team members.
Ability to operate phone systems efficiently while managing multiple inquiries simultaneously.
A proactive approach to problem-solving, ensuring customer needs are prioritized.
