Position Overview
We are seeking dedicated Class A Truck Drivers to join our expanding team. This role includes opportunities for solo, team, and dedicated routes, primarily focused on dry van loads. While previous driving experience is preferred, we welcome recent CDL graduates who hold a valid CDL Class A license.
Compensation & Benefits
Mileage Pay: Starting at $0.56 per mile, rising to $0.59 per mile at 6 months (based on experience)
Trainee Period: 4–6 weeks of paid training
Layover Pay: Provided after 2 hours
Dock Detention Pay: Offered as needed
Work Schedule
Home Time: Weekends; drivers leave on Monday and return by Saturday
Shifts: Options for day or night shifts
Equipment & Perks
Modern Fleet: Trucks average 1.5 years old and are often equipped with APUs and inverters
Speed Settings: Trucks are configured for a 63 mph pedal and 65 mph cruise
Key Responsibilities
Operate Freightliner Trucks: Drive 10-speed manual or automatic trucks hauling dry freight
Mileage: Cover up to 2,000 miles per week across KY, OH, MI, IN, IL, and WV
Inspections: Perform comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Load Handling: Manage approximately 80% drop-and-hook loads
Documentation & Communication: Maintain accurate delivery logs and coordinate with dispatch and customers for smooth operations
Driver Requirements
No SAP Program History: Must have no history of failed or refused drug tests
Clean Driving Record: No pending convictions, probation, tickets, or accidents
License: Must hold a valid CDL Class A (experience is preferred but not mandatory)
New Graduates: Must have completed at least 120 hours of accredited CDL training
