Are you ready to take charge of dispatch operations, lead a dynamic team, and help deliver excellence at every step? Join our team at Decofurn as a Dispatch Supervisor (National Logistics) – Permanent Role at our DC in Montague Gardens.

What You’ll Do

As our Dispatch Supervisor, you will:

  • Oversee and coordinate the dispatch of stock from warehouse/store to customers — ensuring accurate picking, loading, and delivery scheduling.
  • Manage and lead the dispatch team to deliver excellent service, professionalism, and efficiency.
  • Plan driver routes and oversee load management, ensuring trucks are loaded to capacity and security seals are correctly applied.
  • Maintain high standards of quality control, ensuring stock is handled carefully, and documentation, scanning and compliance procedures are followed.
  • Keep dispatch areas, workstations, and loading bays clean, organised, and safe.
  • Resolve customer complaints related to deliveries; ensure staff are trained to offer courteous and timely customer service.

What We’re Looking For

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience in dispatch/warehouse operations
  • Computer-literate, comfortable with Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Sheets & Outlook
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Advantageous (Not Essential, but Preferred)

  • A diploma or degree in distribution/warehouse-related field
  • More than 3 years’ experience in distribution and logistics
  • Experience with Sage Pastel (or similar inventory/warehouse software)
