1. Scheduling and Deployment

Assign and dispatch field technicians and vehicles to job sites based on schedules, priorities, and availability.

Monitor ongoing field activities to ensure timely arrival, job completion, and resource movement.

Adjust assignments in response to changing conditions such as delays, emergencies, or technician availability.

2. Communication and Coordination

Serve as the main communication bridge between the operations center and field personnel.

Relay instructions, updates, and customer or management feedback to field teams in real-time.

Coordinate with other departments (logistics, O&M, QA) to ensure resource readiness.

3. Systems and Reporting

Utilize job management or dispatch systems to log assignments, monitor progress, and close job tickets.

Maintain accurate records of work orders, technician activity logs, service updates, and exceptions.

Generate daily dispatch reports and escalate issues that impact delivery timelines.

4. Incident Response

Respond to field emergencies and unplanned issues by deploying backup resources or escalating to supervisors.

Monitor job status for potential delays, incomplete tasks, or on-site incidents, and take corrective actions as needed.

5. Support in Operations Planning

Assist in route planning and crew allocation to maximize efficiency and coverage.

Maintain updated maps, technician rosters, and task backlogs to support daily operations.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of dispatching workflows and performance metrics.

Qualifications:

College level or graduate in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.

Experience in field operations, dispatching, scheduling, or workforce coordination is an advantage.

Proficient in using dispatch software, spreadsheets, or field service tools (e.g., Google Maps, mobile job order apps, CRMs).

Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Familiarity with local geography and transportation/logistics is a plus.
