Groundtrans Logistics is a leading last mile service provider within the transportation industry vertical. Headquartered in Chelsea, MA, Groundtrans services Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Southern Maine and Georgia.
We are looking for an experienced Dispatch Manager to help grow, develop and expand our operation in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate for this position has an Air-Freight Trucking/Last Mile background, is tech savvy and process driven.
Key Responsibilities
● Direct leadership of a staff of 20 Delivery Associates
● Oversee AM Loadout and On-Road Management.
● Maintain and reinforce compliance with client policies through communication and direct observation
● Develop Delivery Associate pool by identifying coaching opportunities and leading by example
● Diagnose and proactively resolve problems or issues as they arise
● Provide excellent customer service to both client and customer
● Cultivate strong relationships with Client, Delivery Associates and customers.
● Appointment scheduling for future deliveries while demonstrating a clear understanding of business needs.
● Promote good performance through your positive support and make sound disciplinary decisions for non-compliance with company SOP’s
● Perform daily data entry functions to ensure all company and client records are up to date; ensure time keeping functions are completed (clock in/clock out)
● Other duties as assigned based on business needs
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
