Dispatch/Customer Service Jobs in Elkhart, IN at Braun’s Express
SUMMARY: Perform a variety of duties including data entry, customer service and dispatch support. Project a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Answer customer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries
Set appointments with shippers and consignees for site/residential deliveries
Communicate shipment information with customers (online, phone, email)
Update data in company system with shipment notes and status
Order entry, freight bill entry, freight bill printing for local shipments, regional, including returns
Tracing and tracking of shipments.
Audit and compare data entered with bill of lading.
Reconcile, enter check number in TCS. Scan copy of check in imaging
Review/Audit Proof of Delivery documents, and scan into imaging
Accurately index scanned images
Proactively communicate service delays with customers using Hot Sheet Appointment Routine
Process customer credit card payments
Maintain inventory of office supplies and printing materials and submit re-orders
Other duties as assigned
This is a full-time position Monday-Friday. Hours to be discussed.
Excellent problem-solving, task prioritization, follow-up, and customer service skills are required.
Reliable and consistent work attendance is essential.
Dispatching, Transportation, or Logistics/Supply Chain experience are strongly preferred.
College degree preferred.
