The Director of Supply Chain will be the operational backbone of Vista Hermosa, translating the growth plan into executable processes, systems, and partner networks. This person will ensure the business can launch new products, fulfill customer demand, manage inventory, improve service levels, and scale with stronger visibility, accountability, and efficiency. The candidate will be responsible for building the tools, processes, operating cadence, and internal team structure needed to support profitable growth.

This role reports directly to the President of Vista Hermosa.

Supply Chain Strategy & Business Management

·     Own the day-to-day operating rhythm of the Vista Hermosa business, ensuring priorities, decisions, and execution are clear across functions

·     Build and manage the operational models required to support growth, including production planning, demand/supply planning, inventory planning, and service-level management

·     Establish operational KPIs across forecast accuracy, fill rate, inventory levels, cost, service, and executional efficiency

S&OP, Planning & Inventory Management

·     Own and improve Vista Hermosa’s S&OP process, ensuring clear alignment between Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, and Marketing

·     Build and maintain tools/models that connect demand forecasts, supply plans, inventory levels, production schedules, and financial targets

·     Develop and manage master production schedules in partnership with Manufacturing

·     Establish inventory targets by SKU, including safety stock, days-on-hand, and replenishment planning discipline

·     Identify risks to supply continuity, customer service, and working capital, and escalate decisions with clear options and recommendations

ERP, Systems & Process Infrastructure

·     Lead the implementation, optimization, and day-to-day discipline of operational systems, including Cin7 or other future ERP platforms

·     Ensure accurate setup and maintenance of products, customers, suppliers, bills of materials, inventory locations, and operational workflows

·     Partner with Finance and Supply Chain to ensure ERP outputs support inventory accounting, COGS visibility, purchasing, order processing, and reporting

·     Support EDI setup and operational readiness for key distributors, retailers, and customers

·     Create scalable operating processes that reduce manual work, improve transparency, and support future team growth

Order Management, Logistics & Customer Fulfillment

·     Own order management process across distributor, retail, foodservice, and other channels

·     Manage order flow from receipt through fulfillment, including order entry, inventory availability, shipment coordination, and issue resolution to ensure accurate visibility to open orders, shipment timing, and risks

·     Coordinate communications with distributors, buyers, 3PLs, freight partners, and internal stakeholders

·     Manage logistics execution, including freight pick-ups, FOB customer coordination, customer-delivered models, and service-level follow-up

·     Identify and implement improvements to fulfillment processes that reduce cost, improve speed, and enhance customer satisfaction

Partner Management & Network Development

·     Identify, evaluate, and onboard operational partners aligned with Vista Hermosa’s growth plans, including 3PLs, freight partners, suppliers, and third-party service providers

·     Partner with Manufacturing to support co-manufacturer onboarding, trial execution, and first shipment readiness

·     Build costing models and operational assumptions for new partners, lanes, storage locations, and fulfillment models

·     Partner with Leadership, Legal, and Manufacturing on supplier agreements, operating expectations, and ongoing partner performance management

Commercialization & Launch Execution

·     Partner with Manufacturing, R&D, Sales, Marketing, and Finance to commercialize new SKUs and product lines

·     Support COGS development, cost analysis, bill of materials creation, and financial feasibility assessments for new products

·     Support GS1 barcode creation, packaging readiness, regulatory coordination, and customer setup requirements

·     Develop supply chain specifications by channel, including pack size, case configuration, Ti/Hi, MOQ, lead times, and fulfillment requirements

·     Ensure new product launches are operationally ready before customer commitments are made

Qualifications

·     Deeply passionate about the Vista Hermosa brand, inspired by what we represent, and excited to help scale a high-growth, authentic Mexican food brand

·     8–12+ years of experience in supply chain, planning, logistics, commercialization, or related CPG operating roles

·     Strong understanding of CPG supply chain, including demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, order management, logistics, and ERP systems

·     Experience working with co-manufacturers, 3PLs, distributors, freight partners, suppliers, and retail/customer operations

·     Proven ability to build processes, tools, operating models, and reporting discipline in a fast-growing business

·     Comfortable operating strategically and tactically; able to build the plan, manage the details, and drive execution

·     Strong analytical capability with experience building planning models, COGS models, inventory tools, or operational dashboards

·     Experience with ERP systems such as Cin7, NetSuite, QuickBooks-integrated platforms, or similar operating systems

·     Ability to work with ambiguity, ask the right questions, and create structure where process does not yet exist

·     Excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills

·     Resourceful, entrepreneurial, and comfortable in a rapidly growing / changing environment
