What You’ll Do:
Procurement & Supply Chain Leadership
- Direct and oversee all purchasing and sourcing activities for domestic and international suppliers
- Lead the purchasing organization through the Purchasing Manager, ensuring efficient procurement execution and inventory availability
- Oversee overseas purchasing operations including demand planning, purchase order management, freight coordination, and supplier communication
- Manage relationships with freight forwarders, overseas vendors, and key supply partners to ensure timely and cost-effective product flow
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that optimize inventory investment, supplier performance, and profitability
- Monitor supplier pricing, lead times, service levels, and quality performance.
Inventory & Demand Management
- Drive inventory planning strategies that support company fulfillment goals while optimizing inventory turns
- Analyze purchasing trends, forecasting data, and market conditions to support inventory decisions
- Balance inventory availability with working capital objectives
- Collaborate with operations, sales, and leadership teams to mitigate stockouts, excess inventory, and supply chain disruptions
Sales Operations Leadership
- Lead the Sales Operations team through departmental management. The sales operations team is a custom sourcing team, designed exclusively to support the sales team
- Ensure operational processes support sales growth, pricing integrity, reporting accuracy, and customer service objectives
- Partner with sales leadership to improve business processes, reporting visibility, and operational efficiency
Analytics & Decision Support
- Perform advanced operational and financial analysis related to purchasing, inventory, profitability, and supplier performance
- Develop and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and reporting tools to support executive decision-making
- Utilize data analytics to identify trends, risks, cost-saving opportunities, and process improvements
- Support strategic planning initiatives through analytical modeling and operational insight
Financial & KPI Management
- Own and drive performance against key operational metrics including:
- Fulfillment
- Inventory Turns
- Gross Profit Percentage (GP%)
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of procurement, sourcing, and sales operations professionals
- Manage departmental structure and workflow through direct leadership of managers and individual contributors
- Establish performance expectations, accountability standards, and professional development plans
- Foster collaboration between purchasing, sourcing, sales, operations, and executive leadership teams
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Finance, or related field preferred
- 7+ years of procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or distribution leadership experience
- Experience managing purchasing and inventory functions within a distribution environment
- Strong analytical, financial, and decision-making capabilities
- Experience with overseas procurement and international supply chain coordination
- Proven leadership experience managing multiple functional teams
