JobPurpose:

Director Airport Operations to lead and manage all aspects of all network airport operations. Responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and efficiency of airport operations, while also focusing on

customer satisfaction

Duties

, Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Oversees, plans, administers, and directs the management of Terminal Management team and its operations. Stays updated on industry trends and best practices; provides recommendations to

Senior Management

on enhancements to be adopted by Terminal Holdings. Reviews, evaluates, and tracks budget allocation, employee assignments, objectives, and performance of General Managers and the Airport Operations team. Coordinates, directs, and oversees airfield and airside programs and resource allocations with department executives and/or management in other departments.

Establishes priorities for service delivery elements through procedures and strategies to ensure timely and effective utilization of available services; ensures all services meet ACI and ICAO regulations and adhere to procedures and standards. Reviews and supports HR actions including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and other personnel actions to ensure productivity and quality standards are maintained. Manages, directs, administers, facilitates, and coordinates special projects requests, CIP projects, and other airport and aviation initiatives;

coordinates and delivers responses to the VIP Operations to provide accurate and timely results. Oversees and assists in the administration of the Terminal Management department, including the department’s operating budget; recommends changes to the Vice President of Operations to resolve budgetary problems. Support General Manager’s & coordinate with Terminal Holdings Media Department in preparation of public statements and media releases.

Represents Terminal Holdings at international organizations and professional activities to maintain the image of Terminal Holdings. Conduct Airports Compliance reviews for Airport Certifications and Insurance, ensuring alignment with mandates of federal, state, and international regulatory authorities. Solicitation, negotiation and administration of vendors and tenants’ contracts, and lease agreements. Support commercial department for business Development of aero & non-aero services. Oversees environmental and

sustainability initiatives

of the Terminal Management teams.

Key Performance Indicators:  Exceed Revenue budget targets. Align Expenses within approved Budget & Cost Saving Initiative. Improve Productivity, Improve Passenger Journey Experience & maintain International standards. Acquire International Regulatory Certification for the Airports in the network (ISAGO, ACI, ICAO).  Organizational Responsibilities:  Adhere to departmental work policies and procedures.
