About the Role:
We are looking for a strategic and execution-focused DGM – ISCM (Downstream) to lead Pan-India warehousing, CFA operations, transportation, and downstream logistics. The role will be responsible for driving operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, service excellence, and cost optimization across the supply chain network while ensuring seamless customer fulfilment in a fast-paced D2C/FMCG environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end Pan-India CFA operations, warehousing, transportation, and downstream logistics.
- Ensure efficient distribution centre operations aligned with business and customer SLA requirements.
- Drive inventory accuracy, FIFO compliance, stock hygiene, and warehouse operational efficiency.
- Lead transportation planning, route optimization, freight management, and reverse logistics operations.
- Manage 3PL partners, transporters, and logistics vendors to ensure operational excellence and service delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including planning, procurement, sales, customer service, finance, and manufacturing.
- Drive process improvement initiatives, logistics automation, and best-in-class warehousing practices.
- Monitor logistics KPIs, operational scorecards, MIS reports, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with audit requirements, EHS standards, and internal operational policies.
- Lead RCA and CAPA initiatives for operational issues, claims, and service gaps.
Preferred Skills & Know-how:
- Strong expertise in warehousing, transportation, and downstream supply chain operations.
- Experience managing large-scale Pan-India logistics operations.
- Strong commercial understanding and vendor management capabilities.
- Good knowledge of ERP/WMS/TMS systems and logistics technology integration.
- Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in FMCG, D2C, e-commerce, or consumer goods industry preferred.
Experience Requirements:
- 11–15 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, and supply chain operations.
- Minimum 3 years in a regional / national leadership role.
- Proven experience handling high-volume logistics and multi-location operations.
